to have a sweet tooth =  eine Naschkatze sein

z.B.: Johnny really has a sweet tooth he already had five doghnuts today.

to be toothsome = lecker sein (im Bezug auf Frauen = ein steiler Zahn sein)

z.B.: This steak looks really toothsome. Our new female apprentice is really toothsome.

to be long in the tooth = alt sein

z.B.: Rafting? I’m a little long in the tooth for this kind of sport.

clean as a hound’s tooth (auch clean as a whistle) = blitzsauber sein

z.B.: What do you want, my shirt is clean as a hound’s tooth, never mind my wearing it for a whole week.
