Der Unterschied zwischen Adjektiv und Adverb ist für Deutsche, die Englisch lernen, oft nicht ganz leicht zu verstehen.
Ein Adjektiv (Eigenschaftswort), beschreibt eine Sache, eine Adverb eine Handlung.
So ist „schön“ wie in „die schöne Blume“ ein Eigenschaftswort,
während „schön“ in „sie singt schön“ ein Adverb ist.
Im Deutschen kein Problem, denn hier existiert dieses Phänomen nur grammatikalisch.
Im Englischen jedoch wird beim Adverb in der regelmäßgen Form das Suffix -ly angehängt.
