If-Satz Typ I<\/h2>\n

Im If-Satz Typ I folgt aus der Vorgabe des if-Satzes zwingend<\/em> eine Konsequenz<\/em> im Folgesatz<\/em>.
\nWenn A, dann B. Im if-Satz<\/em> steht simple present<\/em>, im Folgesatz<\/em> will-future<\/em> oder ein modales Hilfsverb (can, need etc.) + Infinitiv.<\/em><\/p>\n

Beispiel: If you eat less, you will lose weight.<\/em><\/p>\n

If Satz Typ II<\/h2>\n

Die Bedingung des if-Satzes<\/em> ist zwar unwahrscheinlich<\/em> aber noch erf\u00fcllbar<\/em>. Im if-Satz steht simple past<\/em>, im Folgesatz Konditional I (would + Grundform).<\/p>\n

Beispiel: If you worked hard, you would be more succesful.<\/em><\/p>\n
