Eine weitere Variante ist, <strong>to have the guts<\/strong>, auch hier liegt der Gedankensprung nicht allzu weit, schlie\u00dflich geht nicht nur die Liebe durch den Magen.<\/p>\n<p>Ein bischen Stirnrunzeln kann der Ausdruck &#8222;<strong>to have the bottle<\/strong>&#8220; hervorrufen, deren Ursprung wohl nicht ganz unzweideutig ist. Die naheliegendste Erkl\u00e4rung ist wohl, dass mancher sich den Mut aus der <strong>Flasche<\/strong> besorgt.<\/p>\n<p>z.B.
