different usage of pronouns <\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

A pronoun<\/em> replaces the name of person or an object in order not to have to repeat it all the time. This way, it is possible to vary the sentence structure a little.<\/p>\n

for example: Jim likes football. \u2013 He likes it.<\/em><\/p>\n

If there were no pronouns we would have to repeat Jim's name all the time.<\/p>\n

usage as a noun.<\/h2>\n

If the pronoun is the subject of the sentence, it is used as a noun. Therefore, if the pronoun is the acting person or item, use the following pronouns:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\t

If the pronoun is the object of the sentence, use the following forms:<\/p>\n

If the possessive pronoun is used as an adjective use the following forms:<\/p>\n

If the possessive pronoun is used as noun use the following forms:<\/p>\n

If the pronoun refers to the person or item itself it is reflexive:<\/p>\n

Beware:<\/strong> The following verbs do not require a relfexive pronoun:<\/p>\n

argue<\/em> \u2013 sich streiten; fall in love<\/em> -sich verlieben; lie down<\/em> \u2013 sich hinlegen;
\nchange<\/em> \u2013 sich ver\u00e4ndern, umziehen; feel<\/em> \u2013 sich f\u00fchlen; meet <\/em>\u2013 sich treffen;
\ncomplain<\/em> \u2013 sich beschweren; divorce<\/em> \u2013 sich scheiden lassen; remember<\/em> \u2013 sich erinnern;
\nconcentrate<\/em> \u2013 sich konzentrieren; hurry<\/em> \u2013 sich beeilen; sit down<\/em> \u2013 sich setzen;
\ndecide<\/em> \u2013 sich entscheiden; imagine<\/em> \u2013 sich vorstellen;
