This way, it is possible to vary the sentence structure a little.<\/p>\n<p><em>for example: Jim likes football. \u2013 He likes it.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If there were no pronouns we would have to repeat Jim's name all the time.<\/p>\n<h2>usage as a noun.<\/h2>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">If the pronoun is the subject of the sentence, it is used as a noun.
