1 Why should I hire you ?

The interviewer wants to sit back, and make the applicant stew in his own juice, and watch the poor guy to do his best in order to highlight his qualifications.

2 Which of the problems that you had with your former boss was the most difficult to deal with ?

A trick question that implies that there were problems with your former boss. Don´t fall for it. Just deny the fact that, apart from the ususal daily friction in every day office life, there had been major problems.

3 Where do you see yourself in five years ?

A stupid questions. Who could possibly know where one would be within five years´ time in our fast moving society, whose ever more rapidly invented innovations could render today´s skills completely obsolete tomorrow.

Best answer: assure your future employer of your long term interest in his company as by this question the actual focus is not the real desire to look into your future, but the sounding out of your attitude according to loyalty and long term orientation.
