z.B.:
Don´t let yourself be talked into something by this silver-tongued salesman.
to be born with a silver spoon in one´s mouth = aus privilegiertem Haus stammen
z.B.:
Johnny got to be where he is all by himself, he wasn´t born with a silver spoon in his mouth.
to cross palm with silver = jemanden schmieren
z.B.:
Since I crossed palm with silver, the service of my janitor is so much better.
